The Look And Sound Of Perfect Indeed!
Pros: Affordable, great looks and fantastic playback! Cons: The Remote Control, Only 720p and not 1080p Bottom Line: A High Quality Upconverter/HD Player for the price of Standard DVD Players
Pros: Plays HD DVDs in 720p/1080i, while Upconverting Standard DVDs to 1080i. Cons: No longer a viable choice for new HD movies. Bottom Line: I Caved In And I'm Glad I Did!
Pros: Cost-to-benefit ratio, price, picture quality, Ethernet-capable upgradability. Cons: Slower boot-up time compared to conventional standard DVD player. Ongoing format war. Bottom Line: I Took The Plunge and Extremely Glad I Did!!
Pros: Excellent price and value. Upconversion of SD is very good. HDDVD movies are simply awesome. Cons: Load times are slower than SD Player. May have a problem reading all SD DVDs Bottom Line: Nice player but slooowww...
Pros: good analoge sound, good dvd upconversion Cons: slooooowwwww.... Bottom Line: Great Value
Pros: Picture quality, sound quality, user interface, sleek design, online capabilities. Cons: Initial powering on of the system is slow (about 20 seconds). Bottom Line: An Excellent Hi-Def player at a great price
Pros: Actually none except for the format war issue. Cons: None, except for the fact that a couple studios only produce Blue-Ray discs. Bottom Line: Great up scaling DVD player
Pros: super up scaling, great digital sound, sharp 720P / 1080i picture Cons: firmware update probably required, For a 1080P display opt for a newer model Read More at Epinions.com I thought I would just try it once. Now I'm a HD junky.
Pros: Inexpensive, great picture Cons: Crappy remote, evolving technology Bottom Line: I LOVE HD!
Pros: Cheap, amazing picture quality & sound quality, easy setup, easy to operate, great upconverter Cons: appears to be a dying format, no HDMI 1.3 Bottom Line: |
