This will remove the EGR Cooler manifold pipes coolant lines and all EGR related electronics from your truck. Comes with all necessary block off plates plugs clamps etc. Allows removal of the EGR assembly Clean up the engine bay Remove unnecessary heat retention under the hood Comes complete with step by step instructions and color pictures The Manifold block off plate is also a great location to install an aftermarket pyrometer. With the reverse head design on the scorpion it makes it very difficult to find a place to install a pyrometer. This location will allow you to use an aftermarket pyrometer without drilling or modifying any factory parts. Pure Diesel Power is proud to release the "Evil Twin" dual cp3 kit for the 2003-2007 Cummins equipped Dodge Rams. The kit is designed for the do-it-yourselfer and can be installed with the basic mechanics tools. This kit is a basic kit that will require some minor work to install but for the most part is very straight forward. The kit is currently designed to be used with either a Duramax or Cummins CP3. The second CP3 must be supplied by the end user. Otherwise everything else is included in the kit that is needed for the install. The kit comes with the following: bracket for the second CP3 fittings for rail pressure sensor fitting for second high pressure line pulley for second CP3 serpentine belt CP3 controller mount for relocating APPS on required vehicles high pressure line for second pump fitting and lines to plumb return line from the second CP3 Vertical water neck for coolant hose is not included and needs to be purchased separately. Radiator Hose Modification is required for this kit to properly fit. There are numerous after-market fuel delivery systems available. You must notify us of what you are running for a fuel system so we can provide you with the right fittings to tie the system in. Also some aftermarket intakes similar to Banks ATS and AFE may not work with the cummins pump on top because of high pressure line interference. (kit may be slightly different than photo)

The Refractometer is a portable, precision, optical instrument used for measuring the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) concentration. When a liquid sample is placed on the prism, the light passing through it is bent. The more concentrated the liquid, the more the light will bend. The Refractometer contains a reticle, or scale, that is enlarged through the eyepiece to measure this light. The values on the scale have been established to evaluate the DEF condition. EPA regulations require all diesel engines manufactured on or after January 1, 2010 to meet lowered NOx emissions standards. Most heavy duty engine (Class 7-8 trucks) manufacturers, have chosen to utilize SCR. This Includes Detroit Diesel (DD13, DD15, and DD16 models), Cummins (ISX line), PACCAR, and Volvo/Mack. SCR-equipped engines require the periodic addition of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF, a urea solution) to enable the process. DEF is available in a bottle from most truck stops, and some have installed bulk DEF dispensers near the Diesel Fuel pumps. However, to ensure the proper operation of the SCR system, operators must ensure the DEF in their vehicle consists of a 32.5 percentage Urea/Water solution. It makes this a simple and quick process for an operator or technician. Scale: 0.5 percentage, line graduations 32.5 percentage, indicated scale 15-40 percentage, waterline, and 20 degree Celsius kit includes Refractometer, dropper, lens wipe cloth, instructions and quick guide, screwdriver and case.
