Thermionic Culture's Culture Vulture Mastering Plus is the latest in the Culture Vulture range and is designed to be used both as a mastering tool and for those applications where balanced inputs and outputs are required plus some extreme distortion. It has lower noise, better frequency response, and greater accuracy in level controls by having a 3 position input gain switch and a 2 position output attenuator. Therminonic Culture uses Mullard M8100 low noise high gain valves in the input stage, a pair of GE 5725s for Distortion effects, and the Philips 5963 in the output. All are military grade valves for long life. There is an extra exciting distortion setting on the Function switch. This is labelled P2. Its similar to P1 (the most used, Pentode setting) but goes into mad distortion and compression when the valve is overloaded. The old P2 is now P3. In addition to the line level transformer balanced output, there is a lower level unbalanced output which can be used to go to inputs that require low level or if one wants to avoid the distortion in the output transformer.The Culture Vulture is the first and only all-tube unit, dedicated to producing the best harmonic distortion money can buy. The goal in designing the 3OD was to create something contrary to the the traditional style overdrive. The desired end result was simple. It needed to be open, natural sounding, and respond to playing Dynamics. Most importantly it HAD to clean up well and remain Dynamic throughout the guitars volume range. So what you are left with is a 3 germanium transistor design in a buffer + 2 cascading gain stage arrangement. The pick dynamics are VERY responsive to attack -clean to crunch depending on how light or how hard you nail it - ! Best of all the clean up is outstanding! Gradual gain reduction NOT TONE with only the guitars volume. The tone remains clear and articulate through out the guitars volume range. The 3OD really brings the player into the sound because it feels like you can "lean into it" while you dig in . The 3OD is, overall, a low to mid gain overdrive that feels like a natural extension of you guitar to your amp. It has plenty of level on tap to push a slightly broken up amp into tube saturated bliss. This is truly one of the most versatile overdrive pedals ever made if with endless tonal possibilities.

The Jetter GS3 overdrive features two overdrive pedals in one that can either be used independently or cascaded together. The GS3 also features a master on/off switch so you can switch on either channels at once, or the one of your choosing. Channel 1 is a transparent boost/overdrive channel that is perfect for a clean boost or a mild overdrive tone. The response is dynamic and balanced for great response to pick attack and volume knob settings. This channel is not voiced after any particular amplifier but was designed to get great boost and light overdrive tones perfect for rhythm playing and chunky blues. Channel 2 is voiced more along the lines of a vintage Plexi. Dynamic and articulate this channel has plenty of note bloom and enough compression for plenty of sustain and singing lead tones. Jetter GS3 Overdrive The Jetter GS3 is an extremely usable pedal that gives you three distinct overdrive tones in one pedal. Channel 1 can be set up as a clean boost or mild overdrive for pushing your amp or adding enough grit to get a great rhythm tone. This channel is very transparent so it does not color your tone, just adds to your existing sound. The Cut knob is great for darkening up the sound or taming a bright amplifier. Channel 2 brings forth thick, warm Plexi crunch with enough gain to get you into solo territory. The overdrive is rich and full with tons of overtones and harmonics. When cascading the two together, the options expand. Channel 1 cascades into Channel 2 so it can be used to boost Channel 2 or Channel 2 can be used to add enough oomph to an already overdriven Channel 1 for soaring lead tones. There are very few pedals out there that are as versatile as the Jetter GS3 Overdrive.

The Cusack Effects Tap-A-Scream is an overdrive pedal with Tap Tempo. Yes.. that's fade in on an overdrive. Along with the 24 Waveforms, controls for Depth, Color, and Feedback allow you to create many unique sounds. The Fade-in, Brake Speed, Tap Divide and Tempo are all programmable for each waveform independently. Once you have the settings for a given waveform simply push BOTH footswitches as the same time to save those settings. An external RCA jack on the back of the pedal can be used as either a Tap IN, or OUT. Connect a cable from the RCA jack to another pedal's Tap input to use the internal switch on the Tap-A-Scream to tap both at the same time. You could also set the tempo remotely by plugging the PBT Tap Out or Remote Tap Switch into this RCA jack. Size: 4-3/4?W x 4-1/8?H x 2?D
