Claybord Deep Cradle Textured Panels...Deep Cradle panels come with a 2" birch plywood strips that are attached flush with the back edge of the panel. These plywood strips are 3/4" thick and the panels can be hung directly on the wall without framing. We are currently carrying the deep cradle boards with the Textured Claybord surface. This surface is a clay coating with a surface comparable to cold pressed watercolor paper. The texture can easily be sanded to a glassy smooth surface. Archival lightfast and acid free these panels are ideal for encaustic oils acrylics watercolors gouache egg tempera airbrush collage- just about anything you can think of! Best of all with the deep clay surface that is the trademark of all Claybord panels you can scrape into sand and rework the surface! Minimize
