Honey is our flagship pattern - it was one of our first designs we made in 1997 when Le Souk Ceramique was started and has become an enduring favorite. The rich honey glaze color makes for a truly phenomenal table presentation. We paint each piece free-hand, meaning we use no decals or tracing or machinery in our production. Each piece is authentically hand-crafted at our studio in Nabeul, Tunisia, just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. Our studio has exemplary working conditions as seen in our videos online (Facebook, You Tube). We use only foodsafe paints and glazes that comply with FDA and California Prop 65, for your health as well as that of our employees. Our earthenware items are suitable for daily use and can be used in the dishwasher and microwave (though the pieces will get hot to the touch). The clay we use for all our Honey items is not refractory, meaning it is not suitable for oven or stovetop. We paint Honey in 31 different shapes and sizes ranging from large serving pieces to place setting pieces to pitchers and serving tagines and small dipping dishes.

The geometric design of Tabarka is reminiscent of classical North African artwork while our color palette selection gives Tabarka a modern edge. As always, our artwork is 100-percent painted free-hand and authentically hand-crafted at our studio in Nabeul, Tunisia, just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. Our studio has exemplary working conditions as seen in our videos online (Facebook, You Tube).
