AMD FX-4100 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Quad-Core Processor

Pros: Good performance for the price. Overclocks well (and easily due to the unlocked multiplier).

Cons: Not a "true" quad-core. Won't be setting any speed records.

More Like Shovel, Not Bulldozer

Pros: -Better performance/$ than Phenom IIs
-Good overclocking ability 

Cons: -Worse performance than comparable Intel processors

Bottom Line:
Only buy this processor if you need a quad core for some reason, and can't score a deal on a Phenom II, which would be a better deal. Read More at Epinions.com
