A good sim game, that pulls you in for a few days.
I've always loved a good sim game! I don't know what it is about them exactly, but something about being able to make something work together, and then when i'm a little bored, totally RUIN IT with style later that just makes a chorkle escape my lips.
This sim, like all the other sims, gives you a premise. You are to build a zoo, and you are to build the BEST zoo. Damn it, you are to build the GREATEREST ZOO!
You are given a large plot of land and as the levels progress you are given more animals and more buildings to build on more land of course. The demands of the animals and the attraction they create is of course all in the balance. You have to decide how many animals of what species will bring in the most money without unnecessarily wasting resources.
The music has never been a strong point for the sim games. They've always been a bland background noise filler, that is, if there IS anything. The sounds in general were mediocre.
Performance wise the game might start demanding a good deal of CPU performance when the zoo gets large and you've got thousands of lil buggers walking about gawking over your animals.
And when all that is done with, try putting the monkeys into the tiger pit.
it's simply, lolarious.
