Recorded live in Helsinki, Finland on September 22, 1974. Subtitled "The Helsinki Concert," YOU CAN'T DO THAT ONSTAGE ANYMORE VOL. 2 was recorded in Finland in '74. It's the same band as heard on the live ROXY & ELSEWHERE, which was released a couple weeks prior to this concert. However, with another year of roadwork under their collective belt, the band's turn-on-a-dime quotient is cranked up quite a bit. Hearing the differences in the five songs which are found on both releases offers a telling glimpse into the growth of this crack sextet. Their familiarity with the material allowed them to internalize the complex blueprints and really flourish as ensemble players.
