Worms Armageddon brings the humorously addictive gameplay of the very popular Worms series to the Nintendo 64 for the first time. The strategy-based gameplay is as unique as the premise. Commanding a team of worms, players wriggle and shoot through 30 missions and 14 training levels. Players take turns moving a worm warrior into position and then firing at the opposing team, using an arsenal of weapons ranging from mines and kamikaze attacks to the more traditional exploding sheep attack and banana bombs. Naturally, the commander who best combines strategic moves with creative attacks wins the worm war. Pros: unlimited replay value
Cons: a little fuzzy and the same old music
If you loved the pc and Playstation and the Dreamcast version then you will love Worms Armageddon for Nintendo 64!!! Now here's the layout:
Gameplay:****
The controls are unique for N64 version. Instead of using the D-pad or analog, you use the c-buttons. At first its weird but after a while its fells just right. Well besides the controls, in the game you have a army of worms with another army in a unusaul battle grounds and a crazy arsenal of weapons. Like mad cows and my personal favorite the Holy Hand Grenade. Which is a grenade with a '' Holy '' attitude that makes your enemies wishing they weren't blessed!!!
Sound:***
Nothing really special, same old weird music with those cries and moans of your enemies at your knees which feels great!!! The explosions and weapons sound really nice and clear. You can hear the rubble explode in dust!!!
Graphic:****
I was really suprised how good the graphics were. I mean the levels looked bright and colorful and not fuzzy!! The only thing this is bad the water in most of the levels looks like icecubes floating in water!! All in all the graphics are above average.
Replay:*****
Holy smokes no matter what you will never stop playing this game!!! Ok maybe you'll stop for a month but you will pick it up again. In the game you have funny missions , 4 multiplayer madness, and mind teasing training coarses that after you beat it, you unlock something
like a jetpack!! So go out and buy this game , Worms Armageddon or you will be nothing but a slimely worm!!!
