Worms Armageddon brings the humorously addictive gameplay of the very popular Worms series to the Nintendo 64 for the first time. The strategy-based gameplay is as unique as the premise. Commanding a team of worms, players wriggle and shoot through 30 missions and 14 training levels. Players take turns moving a worm warrior into position and then firing at the opposing team, using an arsenal of weapons ranging from mines and kamikaze attacks to the more traditional exploding sheep attack and banana bombs. Naturally, the commander who best combines strategic moves with creative attacks wins the worm war. Pros: The single player mode is a little boring.

Oh my gosh .
This game is pretty amazing. At first glance everyone always says what kind of stupid game is that? or why would worms be throwing grenades? The answer is, it doesnt matter, once you play you are hooked.
The one player mode is a little on the boring side but it is just training for the main event. This is a Multi-player heaven. You and 3 of your buddies or computer opponents take turns wailing on each other with grenades, bazookas, homing missiles, sheep (we will only wonder how you get a sheep to explode), old ladies, banana bombs and more! You tear up the terrain earning points for everything from the most kills with one shot to a Dr. Doolittle award for taking out the animals in the level.
This game is best played drunk or late at night when you need sleep. The fun just doesnt stop.
You can customize your team name and the names of the individual worms. You can also choose the accent your team carries be it German, Japanese, Soul man, and more. There are so many options in this game that you really cant get tired of it (unless you suck at it).
The graphics arent the best but they dont need to be, the levels are beautiful but who cares, you are just going to blow it up anyway. The controls are also great, even with the boring one player mode this game deserves a 5 out of 5.
