Pros: Great color, Looks sharp, nice features

The Bottom Line:
I would avoid this set or any other Westing house product. Trying get them to stand behind it is not worth the hassles
I purchased this Westinghouse LCD television from Video in Jan. 2006 for $1,086.00 + tax. Great looking television, compact with a great picture and many features that I would probably never use. However after about 50 hours of viewing time over 6 months (Bedroom TV rarely watched) it started acting up and going into a super v-hold type pattern after about 15 minutes of being on or warmed up I guess. Westinghouse service department "sucks" to say the least. After contacting them in July 2006 looking for warranty help. They wanted me to ship it to California at a cost to me of about $150.00 for proper packaging and shipping. After throwing a fit about that, they finally gave in and sent a pick-up ticket and box with proper bracing for this model and I promptly shipped it. I shipped it in Sept. 06 Finally received it back in Jan. 07. Hung it turned it on and immediately this time. The same problem. They sent another box, I shipped it again. Made several calls and still no TV. I just got off the phone with them again and have gotten no where. I here allot of ... "Someone will call you with in 4 business days ... No calls. I call again waste 20 minutes each phone call and they will check status and someone will call back within two business days. .... No Calls. I have been patient and they do not follow thru. I will never buy another Westinghouse product again.
