The West Bend 6 Quart popcorn popper makes the best popcorn you can get anywhere. I chose this product because I had a really old popper from them that I got at a garage sale. It worked really well until the wire shorted due to overuse & abuse so I needed a new one.

6 Quarts of popcorn is a whole lot of popcorn. The thing I like best about oil poppers is the flavor is always 10 times better than air popped popcorn. This West Bend popper sports a rotating arm inside to make sure all the kernels receive enough oil to pop. When the popping is done there are no left over kernels to pop and no burnt popcorn.

One word of caution: The directions state that their popper somehow senses when all the popcorn is popped and will shut off itself. NOT TRUE. I've tried waiting to see if this would happen a couple times after all the corn was popped and it never shut off on its own. I don't know how many seconds you have to wait for it to shut off on its own, but don't wait or you'll have burnt popcorn.
