Juicing is a healthful way to eat fruits and veggies, and the Waring Juice Extractor takes juicing to the next level. A high-speed 400-watt motor makes the extraction process efficient, and makers of carrot juice will especially appreciate the brushed stainless-steel housing--the extractor wont turn orange with age.\nEveryone whos ever owned a juicer knows that cleanup is the biggest downfall of home juicing. With the Waring, that wont be an issue--the compact strainer, pulp collector, lid, and juice collector are all dishwasher-safe, and the stainless-steel body wipes clean with a sponge. The extractors die-cast base stays steady on the countertop, and its cushioned feet will minimize vibration, protecting the countertop from scratches. Minimize

Waring juicer = great value!

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Easy to clean, efficient and easy to use.

Cons: The price is steep, but I've paid more for less with other brand juicers.

The Bottom Line:
Excellent value for the money and a terrific investment in your health. Sturdy machine, reliable.

This is the best juicer I've ever owned. Other reviews state that it's noisy, but it's far quieter than our oster blender. There's just one toggle switch on the side of the unit. Off/on. Very simple. The juicer is easily disassembled and a breeze to clean up. Just take the parts (the lid, the pestle, the blade unit and the pulp collector) and run them under some hot water. The blade piece will need a little scrubbing with a brush to get all the pulp out, but if this is done right after using the juicer, clean up isn't a big deal. All parts (except the housing, of course) are top rack dishwasher safe. The cup that comes with the juicer is stainless steel and can go on the bottom rack. It has a nice capacity (32 ounces) and the plastic parts are dark, assuring that the juices won't leave a tell-tale stain over time.

The nicest part about this juicer is that the pulp container comes out of the main housing. This makes clean up really easy. If you come across a juicer that has the pulp collector integrated with the machine's housing, don't get it. You will find clean up to be a chore.

Sometimes I find a little juice at the bottom of the pulp collector (mostly when juicing oranges and other 'soft' fruit), but I just scoop out the pulp and gently squeeze the extra liquid into a cup. To reduce the chances of this happening, when you're juicing soft fruits like oranges, push the slices *slowly* down through the feed tube. This will maximise the extraction of the juice.

This is a great investment and will provide you with cups of fresh delicious juice and plenty of pulp for the compost.
