You’re read my rants about my waffle makers but while they are really awesome, they did pose one problem.
 
When my grandkids visited, they just didn’t make the waffles quickly enough. Each waffle maker made only two and with two hungry mouths to feed – plus PopPop and me, well, they just didn’t cut it.

Long story short, I gave them to my son. He can use them since he and his wife rarely eat waffles. They’re more like bacon and eggs while the kids are more waffles.
 
So, that left me with the prospect of buying another waffle maker.
After searching and researching the different varieties, I decided on the Cuisinart Waffle maker – WAF6.

Why? This small appliance is awesome . . . it will make SIX waffles at one time. That will definitely keep the kids busy while I make more for PopPop and me. Yes it bakes that quickly!!

First of all, the baking plates non-stick. It doesn’t even need to be “conditioned” like so many other waffle makers.

The outside is a beautiful sleek stainless steel. So easy to keep clean.

Another great feature is that you don’t have to settle for light colored waffles. Like yours a little darker and a wee bit crisper? Not a problem here! Just turn the dial to your desired taste and voila! Done to perfection. There are SIX adjustable browning settings plus an OFF setting.

Talk about features! This waffle maker has two indicator lights: the red light that will light as soon as you plug in the machine which tells you the power is on; the green will light when the waffle maker is hot enough to use. The green light goes out once you pour on the batter and close the lid BUT will relight once the waffles are done. There is also a loud “beep” when the waffles are done so you don’t need to stand by the appliance anticipating those delicious waffles. This signal is loud enough to be heard across the room.

I love the fact that there is a cord-storage directly under the waffle maker. It makes storing this appliance that much easier and neater.
One thing I always hated about counter top appliances is that they seem to “travel” when in use. That won’t happen with this little waffle maker. The feet are made out of rubber to keep the unit steady and in one place. Gotta love Cuisinart!!

One thing you should understand is that this is not a “cool touch” appliance. It will get very warm on the outside when it’s in use. I found it doesn’t get terribly hot but warm enough to cause discomfort if you’re not expecting it.

I mentioned before the cleaning the outside is a snap! I’ve been using Windex and have not had a problem. It gets clean every time.
As for the inside? I just use a very hot damp cloth. It cleans up as if it were new.

To look at the unit, your first thought is that it might be heavy to carry. Surprisingly, it’s very light in weight so carrying it to and from my utility closet (that’s the closet designed for my small appliances) is a breeze.

Okay, so I paid $100.00 for it. You know what? It's worth every penny!

What can I say? I’m a very happy camper. I just LOVE my Cuisinart Waffle Maker.
