Love this car

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Nice to be seen in, good power, good gas mileage, roomy for a convertible

Cons: Minor electrical, suspension could be firmer

The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended. In terms of bang for the buck in luxury convertibles, this is a great buy.

I've had this car for 2 months now. I was considering the Mercedes CLK 320 and BMW 3 series when I came across this car. When comparing it seemed that the Volvo had more rear passenger room and more trunk space than the other two. We bought it used with 45k miles on it. I'm finding its a head turner even when the top is up and I'm loving it. Gas mileage is about 21 city/ 28 highway and the turbo gives its best punch above 30 mph. Sound system is excellent (in dash 3 cd changer with 12 speakers). The ride is more sporty than luxury and I feel all of the bumps in the road. I've also notice a little bit of what I like to call "body role" when I'm doing some spirited driving but this seems common to most convertibles I've driven. A few minor complaints: driver's side window goes up a little slower than the rest. It might be by design but I think it is likely a faulty regulator. Also,I have not been able to program power seat memory although every other option of the heated power seats work fine. Stereo is a little complicated to operate even after reading instructions. Overall, I am extremely happy with the car and would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury convertible.
