A few years back, the nostalgic old Volkswagen Beetle Hatchback was released once again in an updated, contemporary format that stayed true to the original design and personality that won the hearts of so many the first time around. Todays New Beetle still sports the rounded bug shape and quirky delights like a flower vase inside the cabin, yet it remains a versatile and user-friendly vehicle.

I Wouldn't Trade My Beetle for Any Other Car

Pros: Beetles make SUV drivers jealous. What more do you need?
Cons: People rubber-necking to look at my baby and I cause traffic problems.
The Bottom Line:
This is just a great car. It looks great, it rides great, it's economical. You can't ask for much more.
I freakin' love this car. After traveling from dealer to dealer with no particular car in mind, it was love at first sight when I found my Beetle. I walked cautiously onto the Volkswagen lot, fairly certain I wouldn't find anything in my price range. When I sheepishly informed the salesman what I was willing to pay, he rattled off a list of cars on the lot that I could afford. When he pointed to my shiny blue baby, I was ecstatic. I never imagined myself in a Beetle before, but suddenly it all seemed so right. I knew she was meant for me. I took her for a test drive. The way she zipped along, the looks I got from other drivers in their boring sedans, the six-disc changer, oh I could go on and on. Let's just say, I knew she was perfect. I bought her that day without hesitation. I've had my baby for three months now, and I love her more each day. She's great on gas, she's good in bad weather, and I haven't had a single problem with her. The ONLY thing about her I wish I could change is her lack of power-windows. But, you know, no one's perfect.
