1999 Passat

The Passat is a carry-over for 1999, however two new models are available. A GLS V-6 model and an all-wheel drive GLX V-6 model have been added to the wagon line-up. Optional equipment includes a five-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, leather interior and eight-way power driver and passenger seats with three position memory. An all weather package, leather interior trim package and luxury package are optionally available on all other models. Standard interior amenities include air conditioning, power windows and door locks and a premium AM/FM stereo with cassette.
