Good for a starter camera

Pros: Size.ease of use. user friendly. Downloading pictures very easy.
Cons: The lens cover when open states it isn't. Battery hog unless using rechargeable batteries.
All in all this is a decent camera. However, after using the camera for almost a year it started giving me problems. Almost like it knew the warranty had expired. This camera like most has a spring action lever that activates the cameras use and exposes the lens. However, my model would say that the lens cover was closed when it wasn't and would not take a picture. This got very frustrating. For a 3.3 Mega Pixel camera I did take a lot of nice shots and do still like it when it works. The only problem is that there is no assurance when that will be. Even though it does go through batteries if you get rechargeable batteries they seem to last longer.
