Pros: wasn't bad for the money when it worked
Cons: No one will fix it...or stand behind it.
We also bought this TV on black friday 2005. Ours lasted just past the warranty and now needs a $500 part to fix it ... that apparently isn't available anywhere. We've been given the run-around by Eric at the warranty department for months now. We bought ours at Wal Mart and they aren't any help either. Don't fall for any of these 'cheap tv deals." Nobody will fix them. One repairman told us it was a throw-away tv. I don't know about you, but $1000 is a lot for us to throw away. Our tv just suddenly failed to turn on. Another guy told us a tv should last 30,000 hours. This tv is a bad joke. Agree... run, run, run, no matter how tempting the deal.
