worth the money ($12)

Pros: cool music, fun weapons, good for people who commute to work by car
Cons: steep learning curve to control the car
The Bottom Line:
worth the price now that older titles are getting discounted everywhere and you can find this used at your local video store or flea market
from the point of view of someone who isn't willing to pay $50 for a video game - I'd say this was an excellent investment. I picked it up used from a video store for $12. I have a personal affinity for this because it reminds me of one of my favorite 8-bit nintendo games - RC Pro Am.
There's a recent computer game that has to do with radio controlled cars, which was too realistic for me.
I think it's pretty sad that I play this more than I play any of my Playstation 2 games - maybe I'm getting old.
The control of the vehicle has a lot left desired - this is coming from someone more used to moving around fluidly on Quake III Arena with a keyboard.
So, my conclusion is that this is a great addition to your video game collection. Though my experience is just limited to Twisted Metal III and not IV, III, or I - I can't confidently say this is the best one of the 4. But I can tell you that I found it fun to play - but very hard to beat.
