Buy this toy and it will give you a break while teaching your dog valuable problem solving skills.
I always recommend this toy to all of my clients and this Item has been so hot that my manager had to double our normal shipment of them.
What's the key to having the perfect dog? Keeping them busy. And that is exactly what this product does. You insert their kibble and instead of it taking them 60 seconds to eat, it now takes them 15 minutes to eat. That is 15 minutes that you don't have to watch your dog.
Also, if your dog gobbles down their food, this could pose a serious health risk. It could the dogs stomach to twist. If that happens then you literally are battling the clock to save your dogs life. This product slows down your dog prevent their stomach from ever twisting.
The treat ball also provides mental stimulation for the dogs, as they have to figure out how to get their kibble out. Mental stimulation is critical in the growth of puppies and leads to a better trained dog.
Quick Tip: The first time you use this product help your dog out and show them that their is tasty kibble inside. If they don't get a reward quickly they will loose interest.
The product is very durable, but DO NOT give this to your dog as a chew toy. Most large breeds would have no problem demolishing this toy. As with all toys given to a dog. Your dog should be monitored when interacting with the toy and the toy should be inspected for damage before each use. Also as the dog rolls this around with their nose it is inevitable that kibble will fly places they are not able to reach i.e. under the refrigerator. Also this product is probably not for those who have k9's that are finicky eaters.
Their are other similar products out their like this one, but this is my favorite treat ball. Daisy's mouth starts to water ever time she sees the bright orange ball.
