2001 Toyota Tacoma

The Tacoma PreRunner returns this year with several styling revisions as well as option package changes. PreRunners feature the styling and chassis of the 4WD Tacomas in a 2WD powertrain setup. The SR5 Package is available in either color-keyed or chrome trim, and contains air conditioning, a tilt steering wheel, and an upgraded stereo system. The TRD Off-Road package includes off-road suspension, upgraded tires, and a locking rear differential. A four-wheel anti-lock braking system remains an extra-cost option on all models. A new option this year is the Stepside Package, which contains a stepside bed and color-keyed bumper caps. A new front appearance and a new four-door Double Cab model round out the changes. Minimize
