The Toyota Camry Solara, which made its debut in 1999, will enter the 2000 model year with the addition of a convertible model. The Solara is now available in six models: SE, SE V-6 and SLE V-6, all in both coupe and convertible bodystyles. The Camry Solara features several safety features which include daytime running lights, an energy absorbing collapsible steering column, front and rear crumple zones and hood hold down hooks. Anti-lock brakes, side impact airbags and traction control (SLE V-6 only) are optional. Other options include a power moonroof, power drivers seat, mudguards and a premium JBL 3-in-1 AM/FM Radio/Cassette/CD player (Standard on SLE V-6). Several Upgrade Packages are also available on all models.
