1998 Toyota Tacoma

The Tacoma pickup truck is manufactured in Fremont, Ca., with a redesigned front bumper and grille. A new standard passenger side air bag (on all models) and an optional tire upgrade on the regular 2WD model are some changes on the Tacoma. Also new on the Base model is an optional Value Edition Plus Package which comes equipped with power steering, audio system and many color-keyed exterior features. No longer available is the 3.4L V6 engine on the 4WD regular model. On the Xtra Cab models the flip-out rear quarter windows and height-adjustable front headrests are standard features.
