The Toyota Land Cruiser returns for the 1998 model year fully remodeled. The new fifth-generation Land Cruiser offers greater horsepower and torque (230 HP and 320 lb.-ft) than its predecessor with its standard 4.7-liter V8 engine . The Land Cruiser also features a redesigned chassis and suspension for added safety and comfort. Other comfort and convenience features included are cup holders, storage compartments, power windows and locks, tilt steering, air conditioning with climate control, an AM/FM/cassette/CD stereo sound system, three power outlets and cruise control. Options include a third seat with swing out rear quarter windows, power moon roof, locking differential system, leather seating surfaces and a roof rack.
