Pros: Nice looking, nice picture when it works.
Cons: Does not hold a charge, JUNK!!!! Garbage!!!!! Not worth the money!!!!

I bought this product as a gift in May of 2003. The player was used about 3 times and after about eight months the DVD player would not hold a charge. I contacted Toshiba and was told they would repair the product but I need to send the DVD player to them at my own expense. I think that is not right after I had just spent $500 on the player. I sent the DVD player to Toshiba in December and did not get it back until the end of January. They sent me a refurbished product(someone else's JUNK). I turned it on to make sure it worked and put it in it's case and put it away. In October, we pulled out the Portable DVD player to charge to use on our trip. We turned it on and of course it did not work again. I contacted Toshiba again and was told that I had to send the product back and they will try to repair it at my expense. That was unacceptable to me. They then said they will send me a shipping label and cover the costs of repair. That is still unacceptable to me. I paid a great deal of money for a product that failed to work not just once, but twice. Why should I put my faith in this product that has failed to perform twice. I asked to speak to a supervisor and of course they were all busy. I was told by the customer service rep that one of the supervisors will call me back. No one contacted me that day. I called the next day and spoke to the same rep as the previous day and she was rude. I called later when I still had not heard from a supervisor. I finally spoke to a supervisor and her was rude also. I did ask him how many Toshiba products he owned, and he told me that was not important. I bought this product because Toshiba was supposed to be a quality product, but Toshiba sells nothing but GARBAGE!!! I will not ever buy another Toshiba product again and I will make sure that I let everyone I know and tell them to pass it along that Toshiba is JUNK!!!!!! Save Your Money!!!!!
