It's an older game which is seen in the graphics and sound. If you're into strategy, try to find it! The basic idea is just so much fun!

This is an extremely hard to find game. I purchased it used on eBay, and do see it available there from time to time. This game can be very addictive. The basic idea is to cure as many patients as possible, but be careful not to kill anyone. You'll need to hire skilled doctors and possibly fire any that aren't meeting your standards. You are given an empty hospital at the beginning of each of the 12 levels, and then it's up to you to place the rooms where you think they will fit best. Each level has different requirements such as number needing to be cured or a bank balance to obtain before going to the next level. And this game wouldn't be as much fun as it is without all the problems that can creep up. Earthquakes occur with little warning and will damage your machinery. Rats can invade your hospital if it's not kept clean, so there are plenty of handymen to hire for that. The diseases are all ficticious and absolutely hilarious. For example, slack tongue occurs in someone who talks too much about soap operas. To cure this disease, the patient is treated in the slicer room to remove the excess part of the tongue. Also, you'll see invisible patients who need to be cured by a drink mixed in the pharmacy.

This is a fabulous strategy game! It's so hard to put down. I recommend if you're using wireless controller to have a spare set of batteries available. The graphics aren't the best, and sometimes it's hard to see what's what, but I don't feel it ruins the fun.

It's difficult to learn at first since the manual doesn't provide much help. But I felt that was part of the fun in the game. As you get better and learn how to do more things it becomes much more addicting!
