The goal of The New Tetris is to collect as many lines as possible. You clear lines by completely filling horizontal lines with puzzle pieces that drop from the top of the screen. You can rotate 'em and move 'em left and right to drop 'em in place. As the number of lines you have collected increases, pieces drop faster, so watch out! When your piece-pile stacks to the top of the screen, your career as a Tetris tycoon comes to an abrupt halt. If you're a Tetris fan, The New Tetris will take your obsession to a whole new level!

Pros: graphics, fun, see the world
Cons: totally addicting
Can you see the world with your video game? Here you can see some of the most interesting sites around the world by building and storing up lines. It's the same Tetris with a new twist for the modern times. Talk about fun. I've always loved Tetris and now I'm addicted to this game. It takes skill and quickness to play. We purchased this game just because it was Tetris and loved the idea of new graphics which it does have. You can choose your background and music. Play up to 4 players and rack up the lines faster.
We chose this game because it was multi-player functional and because it was fun and not a role-playing game. It's fun and easy enough on some levels for my stepdaughter to try her hand at. Yet, it is fun enough for my husband and I to try our hands at also. We love to try and get the new scenes.
Other games I would recommend are:
1. Pac-Man~ This game has it all from the old days also. You can choose Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-man, Galaxain, Galaga, Dig-Dug, Pole Position. Talk about a value, Six games on one cartridge.
2. Golden Nugget Casino~ If you like casino games then this one has it all.
3. Yoshi's Story~ Great one for kids and adults. It's a one person game but has different levels for kids and adults.
4 & 5. Mario Party 1 and 2~ These games are just like a board game except with graphics and different levels. Great fun for the whole family.
