Pros: Everything, rocks, has change table, music, light, gorgeous, vibrates, can be used without a base.

Cons: Cloth on outside doen't come out so can't be washed. Angle for sitting not good.

Hi, my name is Carolina and I got the "First Years Carry me near bassinet and it is the best thing me and my husband have ever done. I mean it was the best purchase ever. I used it soooo much I can not even begin to explain. First of all get a bassinet, it is a must. In the first two and a half months you need your baby near because they are too little and so you need to be near in case of anything and you are too tiered to be getting up to go to another room. Just know that it is must. Now from all the bassinets the best ever is this one. I used every aspect of it. It is sturdy and very safe, you will be with an incredible peace of mind when your baby is in it. I used the music, the rocking, the light, the vibrating, the change table, I used it in the stand and I took it out and put it on the couch, I enjoyed every bit of it. EVERY PARENT SHOULD HAVE ONE!!!. It is sturdy and safe, and large enough but not too large that is unnecessary (and my baby was super long always from birth). This bassinet is beautiful it will exceed your expectations. My baby loved it and it was not hard to get her used to her room or crib because it is so easy to carry that I went in stages. First all the time in my room, then i put it in her room (with the base)during the day so she would nap there and at night in my room, and then I put it in the crib(without the base), and then I put the baby out of the bassinet on the crib during the day and then at three months my baby was happily sleeping all the time in the crib in her room. I never let her cry all night or anything, and this was possible because this bassinet makes it all so easy. My baby threw up in it a few times and peed a few times and because it is so easy to take the inside cover out and the matress is plastic it was always easy to wash and clean. The cons are that when you use it for the baby to sit (because it lifts to a recline position) the angle is not so comfortable for baby and the harness is a bit cumbersome. But that is nothing compared to the pros... Go buy it now ! You will love it and thank me !!!
