I have a house full of animals so as I am sure you have guessed I have millions of funny stories. I have a parakeet, an English Bulldog, and two American Short hair cats. They give us tons of entertainment. There is one item in the house that offers the most entertainment for my pets and my family and that is the cosy cave bed by Snoozer.

I first saw this product at a friends house where he cat was curled up lovingly inside it. Of course she only has the one cat and so it is a nice quiet place for her cat to relax and enjoy the day. I thought my cats would really enjoy having one because they seem to love crawling under the covers in my bed and exploring anything that has a "cave" look to it. My friend had purchased her cozy cave bed on the internet so she sent me the link where I could find the cosy cave and order it myself. I ordered the small one because my cats aren't very big and I figured 24 inches was big enough. They do make a medium sized one of 35 inches as well.

The first day I brought the cosy cave bed home the cats were in love. The two of them would crawl up inside there and turn around a few times to find that perfect spot like cats do. Just when I thought it was going to be a great place for the cats to relax here comes my fat dog. Yes, my English bulldog decided he wanted inside the cosy cave. He chased the cats out and tried to get inside but he was just too big and clumsy. It was so funny to watch. Now it is a ritual. The cats will get real comfy and the dog will come and try to chase them out. Sometimes the cats stand their ground and fight for their cave, and they win because the dog is still a puppy at 7 months old and the cats have claws. On other occasions when the cats just aren't in the mood for a fight they will leave and let my dog try to get into the cave but he can never quit get it right. He slides right off and into the floor, looking up with his puppy eyes with an expression that seems to say "what am I doing wrong".

I have decided to invest in a medium sized one for the dog so that he will have his very own cave but I have a feeling that it won't stop the daily fight over who gets the cosy cave bed, it seems to be a fun little game the animals enjoy playing now.

The Cosy Cave is a pillow bed with a top over it to make it resemble a cave or tent. It has a round pillow on the bottom with a sheepskin cover on the top.

The cover is washable which is important when you are purchasing a pet's bed. It has a brass zipper that you use to take it off and wash it. The cover is made out of cotton and polyester. The lining of the cave is a faux lambs wool. The inside filler is spun polyester and cedar blend.

The cosy cave bed comes in two sizes. The small is 24 inches. It costs $49.95 plus shipping. The medium is 35 inches and costs $69.95 plus shipping. However you may want to check their web site and see if the cosy cave is carried by a retailer near you and avoid the shipping charges.

The cosy cave has three styles of fabric. There is a solid navy (this is the one I have), a solid khaki (I would be afraid this would show too many stains), or a red/black plaid.
