The Cosy Cave comes in two sizes: 24" and 35" diameter. Polycotton fabric for the top outside fabric, bottom and sidewall, faux lambswool top and inside cover. Handsome, sturdy Brass zipper (not plastic) on the outside cover; inside liner filled with fine Spun polyester and cedar.

"Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed?!

Pros: Machine washable cover.
Cons: A little on the pricey side.
Each night was a battle. Who would get a spot in the bed? Who would get a pillow? Some nights my husband or I got lucky, but most of the time our 4 cats would beat us to it! And they were not always happy to share!
It was for this reason that we decided it was time to purchase the ungrateful felines a bed of their own.
We purchased the Snoozer Cosy Cave and brought it home. We set it down in a favorite cat hang-out, and watched as curiousity got the best of them. They stared at it, they sniffed it, they rubbed up against it, but would they actually sleep in it?
Two days had passed, and none of the cats had taken the plunge. Perhaps they didn't trust us? Maybe they knew it was a trick to keep them off our bed?
Finally, on the third day, Kimba could no longer resist temptation. I was thrilled when I discovered her curled up in the new kitty bed! And once she took this big step it wasn't long before her sisters followed her lead.
Is It Comfy?
It sure looks comfy! The outside of the Cosy Cave is made with a poly/cotton material. The inside is faux (a fancy word for fake) lambswool. It's very soft, and lambswool seems to be popular amongst animal bed-type products. The interior liner is filled with polyester and cedar... which has a pleasant scent.
How Big Is It?
It's so big that 2 of my kitties can snuggle up inside it at one time. This item is available in two sizes. The 24" cave costs about $50.00 (this is the one we purchased), and the 35" cave runs about $70.00. We opted for the smaller version since cats usually prefer a more enclosed area.
How Does It Look?
Although it isn't anything fancy, the Cosy Cave isn't an eyesore, either. It's available in different colors. And the outside cover is machine washable making it easy to keep clean and odor-free.
All in all, this was a smart purchase for us. The cats are happy, we are happy, and now there's a little more room in the human bed for my husband and me!
