Great Graphing Calculator

The Ti-83 is the standard calculator for most alegbra 2 or pre-calc. classes. This calculator is a must for high school students. Even if your classes don't require you to have one of these graphing calculator I personally recommend getting one. It is just so helpful. Even with its large price tag i think it is one of the best investments for your education. This calculator has basically evey function you can ever need. Because there are so many i will name just a few noteable features.
First you can "program" stuff or get programs that do stuff such as the quadratic formula program, or the distance formula program. This is very helpful especially on standardize test because if you have all the programs you can simply let your calculator do the hard work. Also you can get GAMES! Not half bad games too, games just like the kind you get for gameboy. You have your space invaders game, multi-player tetris, a game called penguine and even marios bros. There are so many game and they are all free off the internet as well as all kinds of other programs!
You can also use the programming function as a text editors for storing all those important formulas for tests and stuff. You can even store whole documents in to these things. For example onces i scanned 5 pages of my biology book and send it to my calculator via a link and I got a 100 on my bio quiz!
Other great functions include the ability to transform decimals to fractions and vice versa with the click of a button. You can also do crazy roots and stuff. The best feature it think is the large screen this is very helpful. You can see the last 3 or 4 steps of what every you did so you can make sure you didn't make dumb mistakes. This is awesome for multi step problems. Also you have lots of memory to store variables and stuff. The lists of fearures go on and on.
Take my word for it this is one of the best calculators ever. Unless you can afford a higher level Tt- then this is the calculator for you. It will be the best investment you ever made for your education.
