Ten Pin Alley is anything BUT simplified - the programmers relied on technical assistance from a major university to come up with physics algorithms. And it shows. The pins in this game break with uncanny realism - it couldn't look any better if they'd motion-captured strikes and spares. The power meter is also very well-designed, and requires a surprising amount of timing to get it right. In this regard, Ten Pin Alley the look and feel of a top-of-the-line golf game. Bowling 300 in Ten Pen Alley is as difficult as in real life, which is to say, all but impossible. Strangely enough, this feature is one of the game's most appealing aspects: It requires players to make tiny technique adjustments and constantly work to find the perfect delivery. Minimize

Nice 300! Game

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Funny, Fun For The Whole Family, 6 Players At Once

Cons: Not Many Lanes

Author's Review
As in conventional bowling, everyone is more serious as things get tense, and there isn't to much humor in the game! But this game takes the seriousness out of the game(Whoa! What a change!). Ten Pin Alley includes a variety of characters to chose from. Characters range from young children to mature adult, and you can make any outfit you wish. Should you get a young woman, or an old man, should he have red hair? black hair? Blue pants, or red pants? You can also pick from a variety of balls: Plastic, urathane, or resin balls in any weight you wish.

There are only 3 lanes to choose from, which is not a big selection compared to other bowling games. Two of the lanes are normal, and one Congo Black light bowling alley. You can play 10pin or No tap 9pin bowling. I use No tap because it's easier to get a 300! There are Single Player Tournament, or Team play. Play alone, with a friend, or 5 other friends, because there are enough slots for up to 6 players. You can even have a 6 player tournament, which are random, so you may not neccasarily end up playing your friends until all the computer players are eliminated.

There is a option to make and save your own personalized player onto a memory card. You can save a lot of games and players onto just one block of memory, which is a space saver. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a good bowling game that has a challange and it fun to play. This is not one of those games where you point and click to throw the ball down the lane and you get a strike everytime. Getting a 300 is not easy. So you think I'm lying? GO check it out for yourself!
