I would reccomend this to any begining or advanced DJ.
The technics company has been making exceptional audio products since 1969 with the release of the SP-10 DIRECT DRIVE turntable. It was the first of its kind - a direct drive motor for a turntable!
Some ten years later Technics did some heavy researching and came up with the succesor, the SL-1200 mk2. It has had a reputation as the world DJ standard since it came out!
"Why", you ask?- because it is built to such a perfection that other companies such as Gemini, Stanton and American Audio are to this date trying to either make a clone of it or succeed it(with poor results).
The 1200 is simply the best turntable ever made. Don't look any further.
