Lenses are designed for exclusive use on digital cameras with smaller-size imagers and inherit all of the benefits of the Di products. These lenses are not designed for 35mm film cameras and digital cameras with image sensors larger than 24mm x 16mm.At Tamron, quest has always been to make the ideal zoom lens. Tamron Does It Again

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Cost, Sharpness, Hood Included, Range Covered. Fast Focus, No searching

Cons: Would be awesome at f2.8 like the 28-75, but still an awesome lens!

Bottom Line:
For the range covered, quality, low price and added hood, you can't beat this lens. Read More at Epinions.com

A good Travel zoom at a reasonable price

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Huge 18-200 focal range; fast focus; very compact and light; 6 year warranty

Cons: Purists criticize it but I can't see any significant defects in my images; bland style

Bottom Line:
It is a bargain all-in-one 11x zoom. More than reasonable quality and performance. Doing better requires huge expense with several Canon lenses. I can't complain for the money! Read More at Epinions.com

Aberrations galore, though at least it focuses correctly.

Author's Rating: Rating: 3/5 stars

Pros: Focuses accurately on my camera, unlike Sigma 18-200.

Cons: Optically poor, even when compared to the (cheaper) Sigma 18-200.

Bottom Line:
I prefer the Sigma 18-200, due to its better optics. However, neither of these 11x zooms is optically as good as lenses with less range. Read More at Epinions.com

Great Concept but Poorly Executed
