Following the success of Grand Theft Auto, developer Rockstar North takes gamers on a tour of a new city in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. With new sights, new characters, new (ahem) business opportunities, and even a whole new 80s themed era, players can indulge in more criminal fun than ever before. Vice City features more expansive locations, and over 120 vehicles ripe for the picking such as exotic cars, motorcycles, luxury yachts and planes. The soundtrack boasts three times the tunes compared to the previous GTA, and features countless 80s hits. Over 40 different weapons ensure effective firepower and provide enough variety for stylish defensive measures (samurai sword anyone?).

Pros: Awesome game, story and action.
Cons: Just a tad dated compared to the newer releases.

Awesome game
Grand Theft Auto is awesome, after all of it's wonderful success on the Playstation console, it made the jump over to the PC, and what a jump it made, all of the games that Rockstar have brought up have been a huge success and Vice City ain't no different. It's set in the 80's which is very cool and nostalgic being a child of the 80's myself, the soundtrack is a lot of fun and the map of the city is so big that you'll be playing it for a long long time trying to get it 100% complete. The highest I got was 96%, theres so much to take in from a storyline perspective as well as the mini games involved like the races and rampages that you can go on. Prostitution, Murders, Drive bys, Bike crashes. the fun never ends and the story is very engrossing, can't really say enough good things about this game. Many people prefer this to all other GTA games. It's just really cool and it's a bit like a game of Scarface, before Scarface was a game of course! I would say San Andreas just pips it but theres no doubt that for it's time this was revolutionary. They took liberty city and made it a whole lot cooler. When you've ran around chopping up cars with a chainsaw you know you're on to something good. Highly recommended!
