Super Mario Bros. Deluxe Computer Game

As a child of the 80s who grew up playing on the good old eight bit Nintendo Entertainment system, I had to purchase this game. I had to, because this is the game that saved video games in the mid eighties. Without this game, there would be no playstation two or any of the other systems that game freaks love playing with.
For all of you who fell in love with video games in large part due to the fact that they played Super Mario Bros.; You will not be dissapointed with this latest version for the gameboy.
The colors are nearly identical to the original version, the sounds are the same. They had to include a feature to let you look up and down, because there is not enough room on the screen to include the entire game in it's entirety. The gameplay is nearly identical, it is a total flashback to when I was a kid and I forgot how good this game really is.
There are a few new features to this classic scroller. You are able to save your game, so that if you are trying to save the princess without warping, you will not have to shut it off on level 7-3 because you are tired...you can save and come back to it later. There are also time trials which allow you to see how fast you can get through any level you like.
As for classic features, all the warp zones are still there, the secret powerups and mushrooms are all in the same place, and you can even still get a ton of extra lives on level 3-1 if you knew how to do it on the NES. This game is totally worth getting for reminiscing, but it's a pretty good game even if you never played it before. This is a classic for a reason, it's a very good game!
If you're a huge Mario fan, this is a must buy. 5 out of 5 stars and a definite high recommendation!
