Pros: I didn't break anything else in my house throwing things at this piece of crap!

Please heed my advice and steer clear of this item at all costs! Not worth it, even if it's free!!
Do not purchase this system! I bought it new at Best Buy and about 1 month after the warranty was up I began having several electrical issues with it. I could not turn it on or off without unplugging it first, and then it was a crap shoot at best. It will sometimes change functions on its own or not change when you press the buttons. The unit will freeze and is unresponsive unless unplugged. DVDs will get stuck inside sometimes, and you have to plug and unplug until you get the unit to respond. I live in Houston, Texas and thought originally that I was hit with an electrical surge during a storm at some point, which may have fried it. However, after reading the reviews on this model its clear that everyone has the same issues. All DAV models have now been pulled from the shelves at Best Buy, but this has forever ruined me on Sony products. I am sorely disappointed in Best Buy as well for carrying such a junk product. I was planning to purchase a replacement receiver on Ebay for $1...that's right $1, what does that tell you? But after seeing these reviews sharing my pain, I'm scrapping this system and starting anew!
