The perfect little radio

There are lots of radios that get good reception. This one has the advantage of being very small too. It has twenty (20) memory locations divided into four categories: 10 for FM stations, 5 for AM stations, and 5 television stations. Additionally, it has the ability to receive the National Weather Service radio stations.

The radio comes with a decent pair of headphones - NOTE: There IS NOT a built-in speaker on the radio. You must use headphones. This can be a real safety issue for those who want a radio for jogging or cycling. Don't try to wear headphones while in traffic.

My preferred use for this little gem is for late-night listening in bed. I enjoy listening to Dave Letterman's Top Ten List every evening, but don't always want to be parked in front of the television. It's a great way to listen without bothering others around you.

Battery life is reasonable, it takes a single AAA battery. I generally use alkaline batteries. I haven't tried rechargeable batteries. A single alkaline battery is good for 10-15 hours of listening time.

One last item that I really enjoy is the "Hold" switch. When put in the lock position, you don't need to worry about accidentally changing channels when you bump a button. It's a simple thing, but really adds a lot to the usefulness of the radio.

I've been using mine for a couple of months now. I highly recommend it to all.
