I work out in a health club that has 4 TVs broadcasting their audio through low-power FM radio transmitters that have a range of about 100 feet. Each TV uses a different FM frequency. To listen to a particular TV, you must tune your personal FM radio to that particular frequency. To facilitate switching between the 4 TVs I needed a small radio with programmable station buttons like a car radio. The radio had to be small enough to carry on my belt comfortably while working out. This little guy fit the bill.
It has five programmable buttons, all of which can be set on each of the radio bands: FM1, FM2, AM, TV (channels 2 - 13) and weather (channels 1 - 7). I've never used the TV or weather channels, but the FM/AM programmable buttons work great. Reception and noise or interference rejection are very good. The unit is powered by two AAA batteries which provide about 40 hours of listening.
