one dependable radio

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: cheap price, good reception, only one battery required, very durable.

Cons: sensitive buttons, and the labels easily wear out.

The Bottom Line:
this radio is tough and gets the job done.

Author's Review
Upon four years ago I was in a market for a new radio after my last one stopped working, so i can't remember what exactly it was that attracted me to this particular radio, but no matter what it was I believe I made a great investment as this radio is still the exact same one I'm using today four years after my purchase.
The fact that this radio has lasted for four years and still counting is simply amazing to me as I am not the most careful person when it comes to taking care of my radio as i have constantly dropped it, from just walking to riding my bike as fast as I can. The bottom line is that this radio has been abused, and it even looks quite abused, but it has lost nothing in any quality whatsoever.
One thing that I noticed when I was first using this product was that it only needed one battery that was a triple-A. At first I dreaded this, because I thought that I would have to constantly change the batteries, as i had many radios before this that required at least two double-A batteries, and i was changing the batteries about once a week. However with this radio i kept my listening the same and only found myself replacing the batteries once every three weeks.
A fun feature of this is that it allows you to listen to some television stations, while there isn't all that much variety it can be fun to listen to this if you are missing a show that you want to watch, or if for some reason their is little to no volume in a show that you are watching. However I don't use this feature that often as this has the biggest drain on the battery.
Also to those that are complaining about the headphones try doing what I did, and buying different ones that you would prefer to use, believe it or not you don't have to use the ones that come with it.
