Pros: Gorgeous picture, sensible audio options, flexible adjustments, user-friendly. Seems to play any disc. Very cost-effective.
Cons: Won't play foreign discs, no "eject" on remote.
Bottom Line:
For a standard player, Sony's DVP-200PB has every realistic feature one could want, and nothing superfluous. Great picture, audio, and flexibility. Apparently well-built, and it can be had very inexpensively.

Cons: Some scratchy homegrown discs will cause unit to balk. Cannot take even light abuse.

Perhaps Progressive Scan's last hurrah but the warm turntable-like sound quality absolutely seduces you...especially for the money!
