Sony Walkman

Pros: cheap, attractive, great memory and battery life

Cons: lacks colour screen, games and video

Quality product!

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: build quality, battery life, inline remotes from other Sony portables work most important functions.

Cons: software is buggy and would prefer other recording uses, voice memos, etc. .

Bottom Line:
Easily beats the iPod in sound quality and matches storage and portability. Use of other Sony remotes saves you some dough. highly recommended Read More at Epinions.com

One Giant rolls over another Giant. Think Different.

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Tiny, lightweight, beautiful, unique, solid, superb sound quality, easy to navigate; ATRAC format is amazing

Cons: Expensive. not many accessories (both a blessing and a curse). User Interface a little weak.

Bottom Line:
A superb, yet expensive alternative to the hard to beat iPods. Much lighter and smaller than iPods, and to me sound better too! Good stuff. Read More at Epinions.com

Smallest, Lightest, Strongest

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Smallest, Lightest, Strongest Battery Life (20-40hours), Removable Battery

Cons: Flimsy Cover for USB and AC Adapter, Only MP3 and Atrac3/Plus Support

Bottom Line:
Smallest, Lightest, Longest Battery Life (removable!), plus it looks cute. No other portable unit can match its strengths at the time of this writing. Read More at Epinions.com

No Rating feature.
EQ only works with proprietary format
