I recently got this TV as a gift. I'm going to say upfront that it's a heavy piece of equipment. I would recommend buying the stand that is sold with it, b/c if you put it on a flimsy table, it will absolutely break it!
The TV has multiple video in jacks in the back of the TV, as well as component in. The picture is extremely clear and sharp (I have it right out of the box, I have made no color or picture changes) and the sound is really good! I no longer have to turn my stereo on when I watch TV so I can hear it.
I am not a big fan of the Remote though. It feels very light & cheap. I remember the older Sony TV's had a heavy remote that just felt better in my hand. It will control multiple pieces though, so that is definitely a plus.
For this TV being the base model 27inch Sony television, it is up there with the top-models of RCA's, Sanyo's, and all the other TV's.
