Good Entry LCD

Pros: Design, colors, brand reliability, sharpness, picture modes
Cons: Functions, Remote control
The Bottom Line:
This is a solid LCD, not many features, but gets the job done.
This is my first LCD.
I paid 999$, of course im in Central America. All stores are selling this LCD like Hot Bread.
Let me tell you that im very satisfied.
Contrast is low on the specs, but i have this LCD in my bedroom so at night i use only 70% of luminosity, and for the day is more than enough.
Response time is fast, not as fast as my CRT, but you can still zapping. I like the GUIDE button on the remote so the channel list can be displayed so u can choose a channel easily. You can label channels too, to make this search more eficient.
Normal channels looks ok and HD channels looks great.
On the downside remote control is very plain, it is TOO LONG imo, you have to slide your hand frequently from the top to the bottom, kind of annoying.
And i would like to see more functions on the Menu, a 21 CRT Sony from the 80s had more functions, i know this is a entry level LCD, but they can include some tricks with the basics.
If you want to cross the border from CRTs to LCDs i recommend this one to you.
