When I was presented with the choice of which camera to get for my birthday at my local Best Buy, there were a lot of options. I wanted something small, versatile, and packed with features. The Sony Handycam DCR-TRV33 NTSC hit it on the spot. This camera is perfect for college life and for all the aspects of New York City. It has the option of night shot, digital memory, still frame, 120x optical zoom, and many other features that can be read about in the product description. This is not a bulky device my any means, it can even fit in the pocket of my favorite pants. This camera has great picture and sound as well as a long battery life. It records on mini DV and has connections for TV viewing, computer editing, and memory stick uploads. How could I forget my favorite feature? No buttons! After you set the dial to either VCR,camera,memory stick, or off, all you have to do is open the large LCD display and poke away to your options. Thats right, its touch screen display which makes it much easier to navigate and allows a great deal of options for recording including effects and on camera editing This makes it possible to do the things you would need a computer for, in the palm of your hand. I recommend this camera if you are looking for great picture and versatility. It comes with a remote so making home movies is a breeze. The LCD display has a 180 degree axis of rotation and the image flips when its facing forward so its easy to see what your taping. I'm extremely happy with this product and I guarantee you would be also.
