Excellent video quality and decent stills for the price paid. Can be recommended to anyone who is looking for a camcorder with a price less than $1000.
The camcorder has a 1 Mega Pixel for digital photos.
The TRV27 has a better still picture quality rating and the same 530 line resolution that the 30 series has.
Picture quality in such situations is rather poor in low light situations due to the imaging system.
The DCR-TRV27 has a 10X optical and a 120X digital zoom and 3.5 in. LCD screen with 123K pixels.
