This is one of the most outstanding camcorders on the market- awesome product for the price(paid nearlly
$1000). It is packed with features including MPEGs and clear high-resolution pictures. MPEG movies can be made of footage already on tape. MPEGs are great sending and posting on internet,due to the small file size. You can also take pictures on your memory stick in camcorder mode. The editing features are amazing and more than I may ever need/use. You must buy more than an 8MB card . And when buying tapes for the camcorder, make sure you buy tapes with memory capacity (IC or CM (cassette memory)). Having a tape with memory capacity will enable you to place and erase titles and search and "go to" different titles. I highly recommend it
