The Bottom Line:
Bottom line, I feel I got a great deal and chose the best camera for the money.
After researching on the web and talking with friends I decided I wanted a Sony. I found this little jewel at Target for $279.99. The bad news was that Target was out of stock so I went to Circuit City ($379.99) and Best Buy ($399.99), neither would price match because I didn't have a sale ad or because Target was out of stock. I finally went to Wal Mart ($399.99) and they matched the price.
This was a gift to my husband, he's not an instruction reader. He took the camera out the first day and was taping video, zooming, still pics, and playing back with zero effort. The camera has a great picture and I especially like the size for the money. It's pretty small compared to other cameras in this price range.
