**My Experience**
I received this Digital Sony DCR-TRV120 NTSC Camcorder for Christmas this year. It was by far my most favorite gift. I myself am not usually good at figuring out technical devices. I lost the manual for this camcorder and was still able to work it. I recorded Christmas Day with my family and New Years and I am happy to have that all on film. When I went back to watch the tape, I was impressed by the professional quality.
**The Things I Love About This Camcorder**
There are many things I enjoy about this camcorder. You can take still pictures as you are recording and put them on your computer. Another good thing is that if you are in the dark and there is something you need to record, you can flip the NIGHTSHOT button and a green tinted light will appear inside the camera as you are recording. Other people cannot see the light, only when you watch it can you see. You can put titles in different colors and make up your own titles and choose where to put them on the screen.
**The Things I Hate About This Camcorder**
One thing that I hate about this camcorder is that when you are taking a still shot with it, it records the sound too so if you just wanted to see the picture with no sound, you cannot do that. It costs about $7.00 for 60 minutes of recording time. Also, the battery life is not very good so I have to buy another battery. Besides that, I believe the camera has no other bad things about it.
**My Overall Opinion**
This is an excellent camcorder and the amount of things good about it, is about double the amount of bad things. If you want to capture the special moments of your life without the confusing instructions and expensive prices and you want professional quality, this is the camcorder for you.
